Bird Control BC

Recent project

Balcony cleanup and bird-netting installation.

A real residential project with before-and-after media documenting the affected balcony, cleanup stage, and netting system across the opening.

Completed black bird netting installation across a Lower Mainland residential balcony opening

Lower Mainland, BC

Real job photography documents the property condition, preparation, and installation details without unsupported performance claims.

Project Overview

Balcony cleanup and bird-netting installation

This balcony required more than a deterrent on one narrow ledge. The work combined cleanup and preparation with a physical netting barrier across the open side of the balcony.

Scope

  • Document and prepare the affected balcony
  • Plan the netting around the full opening
  • Fit support poles, ceiling anchors, and black mesh
  • Check the perimeter and document the installation

Challenges

What kind of property problem this project reflects.

The project pages stay focused on the real issue pattern, not unsupported metrics or exaggerated claims.

A full open boundary

The property needed a barrier across the balcony opening rather than a deterrent limited to one landing surface.

Cleanup before installation

The balcony condition needed attention before the exclusion layout could be installed around the space.

Solution

How the bird-proofing approach was framed.

The recommendations stay grounded in the surfaces, openings, and usability concerns shown in the project imagery.

Prepare the work area

Cleanup and surface preparation created a clearer starting point for the installation.

Build a perimeter system

Black mesh, ceiling attachment points, and floor-to-ceiling supports formed the physical boundary shown in the project photos.

Results

What a better property outcome can look like.

The results stay qualitative and grounded in what the project imagery can genuinely support.

Result 01

The open side of the balcony was covered by a physical netting barrier

Result 02

The support and attachment details were fitted around the existing balcony geometry

Result 03

The same balcony was documented before cleanup and after the netting installation
